Professional Background
Geoff is a Partner/Executive Director in the Business Advisory and Assurance division of Pitcher Partners Melbourne and leads the Probity and Risk Management Audit team. He joined Pitcher Partners' predecessor firm and was appointed to partner in 1978. As the lead partner of our Probity and Risk Management team, Geoff specialises in advising government departments on major infrastructure and other government procurement. His involvement includes dealing with and advising on confidentiality, document management, and conflict of interest.

 

When working with his private sector clients Geoff is largely a 'commercial' partner. With his wealth of commercial business experience he assists clients with general business management advice and directorial roles, as well as strategic planning and setting of business objectives. In addition to these roles Geoff also provides external audit, internal audit and risk management services to a broad range of public and private sector clients.

 

Throughout his career he has gained significant expertise providing services to various government departments and authorities, particularly water authorities, as well as Research and Development organisations leading to commercialisation of intellectual property, and clients within the manufacturing, building and construction industries.
